ASHFORD EDUCATION GROUP DISCE · CRESCE · DUC
Our seal and motto

Disce. Cresce. Duc.

Latin for “Learn. Grow. Lead.”

Our motto sets out what we expect of every learner and every teacher in the group. First you learn properly. Then you grow in confidence and ability. Then you are ready to lead, in your studies, your work and your community.

Structure

Our divisions.

Ashford is organised into divisions, each with its own focus. This keeps standards high as we grow.

Our approach

How we work.

Good education is mostly about doing the basics well, consistently. That is where we put our effort.

  1. Start with where the learner is

Every programme begins by understanding the learner's current level and goals, so we teach what is actually needed.

  2. Teach for understanding

We explain the reasoning behind each idea, then practise applying it, so knowledge lasts beyond the next test.

  3. Measure and adjust

Regular checks show what is working. When something is not, we change the approach.

  4. Keep groups small

Small classes mean every learner gets heard, and teachers can give proper feedback.

Values

What we stand for.

  1. Integrity

We are honest about what we offer, what we charge and how a learner is doing.

  2. Excellence

We set high standards for our teaching and our service, and we check that we meet them.

  3. Accountability

When we commit to something, we follow through. When we get something wrong, we fix it.

  4. Growth

For our learners, our teachers and the group itself. We are always looking for ways to improve.

Quality

What makes us a high quality provider.

  • Teachers are selected on subject knowledge, qualifications and a sample lesson.
  • Every programme has a written outline and clear outcomes.
  • Learners and parents receive regular, specific feedback.
  • Classes run on schedule, with a clear process if a session has to move.
  • Fees and terms are set out in writing before classes begin.
  • We protect personal information in line with POPIA.

Our status. Ashford Education Group is an independent provider of classes, courses and workshops. We are not a school, and we do not award school or degree qualifications. Our programmes support and add to formal study.
